Yet another vista from Mt. Ashland. Signal Rock. It used to be a landmark guide to pioneers in this area. Some locals know it by another (unmentionable) name or two. This vista is all Southern Oregon - but only just, I think. Look right and it's California.
With all the forests and lakes and waterways in Southern Oregon, there is no shortage of great places to spend a summer day. One not too far from Medford is Lake of the Woods. It is a resort that has been around for over a century. Seeped in history. A place for great fun and memories.
